Welcome Home

Troy Perkins is returning to the USA, MLS and DC United!

Awesome.

I know that some of you will be happy that he is returning at the expense of Fred, who is moving to Philadelphia.

  1. Best news I've had in three years!

Although, now the team has no experienced #10. Doesn't the South American style of soccer require a #10? FO had better get moving on the foreign acquisitions...

  2. We gave up too much. Perkins was good, but is he worth Fred, a draft pick and allocation money? I don't think so.

  3. Fred never seemed to be the same after his father passed away. I think he was really great in DC and under the right leadership he could have been even better. I'm glad he's going to stay in the MLS and I look forward to seeing him back at RFK even if it is in a Union kit.

Our Keeper drama never seems to end. I do think too much was given away to get Perkins but if this closes the door on this saga then let's do it and get back to winning!
