Does Unfulfilling Mean "Back for More?"
An Operation: Deflower! story over at DC Sports Chick. Our congratulations to all involved over there. A perfect story of someone giving someone else a chance to enjoy our beautiful game, even if the game did not live up to it. Note: No mention of frosty beverage... please tell me this critical detail was not neglected?
And a reminder that many other DC stories will be taking place against the LA Galaxy. Will you do your part? America needs you! (Ok, American Professional Soccer needs you. And you need a beer. So it works out well.)

Good story, I hope United can put more goals into the net for her next time. This is really how we need to bring people to the game in this country. I will be brining about 10 people to the next game (most newbies). Lets get this train rolling.
I will be at the next game on Saturday, but, unfortunately, cannot technically be a part of "Operation Deflower!". Neither I nor my fellow attendee can act in the "experienced" fan role.
To get into the spirit of the occasion, I did watch last Saturday's game, the 1-1 tie with Colorado. I am not happy that the team . . . um, didn't win (can't say lost, but . . .), and was surprised by the lack of breaks. On the other hand, I did find the game to be somewhat intriguing and am looking forward to Saturday's in person experience.
Of course there were frosty beverages! Miss M isn't one for beer, so we had girlie drinks instead. We fully got into the spirit of the operation.
Michael, I don't know if you are planning to write about your experience, but if do write something on your blog we will be sure to link to it. If you feel that it wouldn't be appropriate we would be glad to post your thoughts on DCenters. A Nats fan thoughts on DC United soccer at RFK is something that I am very interested in and I am sure our readers will enjoy. Just think of this as a vote for you to write something.
Ok then, I'll write something. I'm looking forward to see DC United at RFK. I'm also curious as to see how my 300 level seats at the soccer game on Saturday will differ from my normal 300 level seats at baseball games.
