Fortunately for me, I was out of town and couldn't watch this match or the Freedom playoff loss.
Seeing as this is another road loss, it's pretty much just par for the course. If we don't beat LA next week, then I'll be truly despondent.

I was there.
The conditions were awful for us supporters -- in the NE corner, facing the Sun, which was incredibly bright and intense. I've been in RFK for matches that were hotter, but this was awful for some reason. My face was sunburned to pain within five minutes, and my gf needed attention for heat exhaustion. But we still did everything we could for 90 minutes -- sang, chanted, jumped, did everything we could to cheer on DC United.
Too bad DC United couldn't be bothered to show up themselves.
That match broke my heart.
(and it was my fucking birthday too)
Marathon game in Honduras was the same thing, only south of the border instead of north.
dc swamp just kills us this time of year.
1. salary cap for whole league needs to be raised
2. most/all of the old guys need to take pay cuts if they want in next year. Can't use up that much money on half time players. Sorry benny....you're welcome back, but...

That was the worst game I've seen in a long time. If the players aren't going to bother why should any one come to see them?
I used to love watching DC United when I first moved here in the mid 1990s now, I'd rather watch paint dry.
