Vindication (Sadly)
Look, when I say something hotheaded about DC United or MLS, well, I'm just a soccer blogger. So let me say that it is somewhat gratifying to see Jeff Carlisle at ESPN also weigh in on the Nowak sideline comments contraversy, and I'm pretty sure we share common ground on the matter.

At this point, with a more high-profile source publishing such an article (no slight to you d, I just figure ESPN has you beat for now), I would hope that some crack would appear in the so-called "cone of silence" that MLS, RSL, and DCU sit under.

Dan: No slight at all, I'm fully aware that ESPN has a bigger audience than I do. And I do hope it breaks the "cone of silence" as he puts it. I'm also happy that his take in a big media presence is similar to the one voiced here, and if I can permit myself delusions of grandeur, perhaps those posts have influenced a way of framing this issue that Jeff was picking up on. Of course, that's in my true meglomaniacal moments :)
