While getting ready for work this morning, I was mildly stunned to hear WAMU (88.5 FM) with a piece on "Marketing D.C. United" The piece focuses on Latino outreach, and features Mr. Boris Flores. Long-time readers of this blog (and by long-time, I mean a few months) will recall that Mr. Flores was the participant in the first DCenters interview. In that interview, he spoke of the various Hispanic Heritage celebrations that DC United had planned, and if you listen to WAMU's piece you can tell that DCU has been keeping its word.

This Sunday's game will be Hispanic Heritage Night, so the timing of this interview is nice. Now if WAMU can explain the strange Latino-Morrisey relationship, all my questions will be answered. I'm guessing that "What Difference Does It Make?" is just such a rocking song, it transcends all notions of race, ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation.
