On Eddie...
While ESPN has indicated that Eddie Pope may retire at the end of the season, I'd like to see confirmation. So far the story doesn't seem to be getting wide play, the way, say, Cobi Jones retirement announcement did. If true, I'm sad to see him go, and certainly encourage a United send-off of some sort. Still, I'm not quite sure this story is meant to come out yet. I'll wait for a formal announcement.

Perhaps it not getting the play that Cobi did is due to the fact that Pope's style is diametrically opposite that of Cobi's.
Low-key announcement for a player that never felt a need to draw a lot of attention to himself.
Possible, or it is possible people are just waiting for an announcement from Eddie himself.
