We have a lot to get to today. A briefing for the Colorado match, and potentially a special guest to talk to. However, yesterday was our birthday. In the mail, we got an early birthday present which we may share with you all later today as well. Let's just say that we owe a lot to several of you, and we won't forget it. To our fellow bloggers, to D.C. United's Front Office, and most of all to readers who show up and occasionally share their thoughts: Thank you. This blog is a lot of work most days, especially since all of us have day jobs, but it is also tremendous fun.

Two years, and 110,000+ unique visitors (since we started keeping track) since we started, and only now do I feel like we're making sense. Thank you all so much. We will work to continue to earn your attention. I love this place.

UPDATE: Yes, a reader (emailed, so I won't call them out unless they'd like me to. They deserve credit) sent us a new header logo. I thought about just trying to see what we thought of it before putting it up, but decided I liked it enough to put it up to see what you all thought. If the person who sent this to us would like to take a bow, please do so. Or, you can remain anonymous. Up to you. I love it.
