New Look At DCenters
Well, the remodeling is underway here. This is the new look DCenters, using a new white background, but trying to keep a nice black and red feel. What do you think? I'll be continuing to fine tune (I want to get my four stars back in the date headings...) but comments and suggestions are welcome. And yes, I have the old template saved if you hate it all.
Update: Yes, that's the header graphic. Fun.

Lookin' good! The only thing I noticed is that the DCenters title at the top (which I click to go back from a post to the main page) is "hidden" in the red until you hover over it - but only on the post entry pages, not on the main page where it's black.
Thanks Miss C!
I'm actually planning on putting in a header graphic as soon as I finish one in GIMP, which should deal with the unfortunate problem of making the title link the same color as the rest of the page.
Looks good to me, dooder. Looking forward to seeing the graphic. And the four stars back again.
Honestly I liked the black background better. More distinctive, more DCU somehow. Also, how well will yellow stars show on a white background? Sorry to rain on the update parade... Keep up the good work.

Okay, you totally beat me in the "Trading Spaces for Soccer Blogs" competition.
D,
I'm kind of with anonymous, in that I was partial to the old black and white setup.
The header graphic looks awesome though, good work on that.
How do you do?
I much prefer the old set up. Sorry. My vote, to the extent I have one, is to return to the good old days.

I like the new look & the title bar. Way to go!
I like the old one better. I don't mind reading on black. And this one the red just jars too much on the white. But hey, some people seem to like it, so what do I know.
The white text on black background was a deadly combination. I think you can probably work on a less jarring change, like shades of gray, but overall good move.
The black text on white background makes it much easier to read. Nice work!
